A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will be the key contact for managing spare parts throughout the sales and post-order phases. Your day involves reviewing and commenting on order specifications during the sales phase, participating in handover and kick-off meetings, and maintaining spare parts systems after order receipt. You will coordinate with sub-suppliers to obtain spare parts recommendations, create customer-specific spare parts lists, and calculate quotations. Engaging with customers and internal teams, you ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective spare parts support that enhances customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will prepare detailed spare parts lists and quotations tailored to customer needs and company standards.
  • You will review and comment on customer specifications during the sales phase to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • You will gather and verify order information, coordinating with specialist departments to complete missing data in systems such as SAP.
  • You will classify spare parts (e.g., wear parts, safety parts) and compile them into customer-specific lists.
  • You will record customer inquiries and technical details in IT systems, collaborating internally to clarify specifications.
  • You will calculate costs and offer prices based on supplier quotations, internal data, and commercial conditions.
  • You will maintain ongoing communication with customers and specialist departments, addressing queries and updating spare parts lists as needed.
  • You will represent spare parts information in meetings, explaining list structures and coordinating design changes while protecting company interests.
  • You are detail with strong organizational skills to manage complex spare parts data and documentation.
  • You demonstrate effective communication skills, including proficiency in English for international coordination.
  • You are proactive and able to collaborate across departments and with external suppliers and customers.
  • You have a customer-focused approach, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries

What You Bring

  • Proven experience of 1 to 3 yrs with SAP MM or SAP PP in spare parts or material management after a bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in spare parts management, sales support, or a related function within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with materials management systems such as SAP MM or SAP PP .
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other common office software.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents and translate them into actionable spare parts lists and quotations.
  • Basic understanding of cost calculation and commercial pricing principles.
