Job Description: Engine Movement Operative
Location: Lincoln, England, GB

Siemens Energy is a leading global provider of innovative and sustainable energy solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Engine Movement Operative to join our team in Lincoln, England. As an Engine Movement Operative, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient movement of engines within our facility. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

How You'll Make an Impact

Engine Handling:
- Safely load and unload engines onto and off transport vehicles, utilizing relevant vehicles such as 8 tonne, 16 tonne, and tow tractors.
- Utilize appropriate lifting gear and overhead gantry crane to lift engines.
- Rack and unrack engines using side loader engine.

Packaging and Documentation:
- Pack and unpack engines in accordance with Siemens Energy standards, ensuring checklists and photos are completed.
- Follow UK Civil Aviation Authority rules and regulations for Known Consignor accreditation.
- Request wood cases from third-party packaging provider.
- Complete SAP transactions for engines, including goods receipt, goods issue, workflow tasks, and bin location management.

Inventory Management:
- Perform regular stock checks of engines, engine stands, and engine containers.
- Conduct preservation and maintenance tasks on assets, such as cleaning and greasing.

Inspection and Reporting:
- Complete visual inspection reports for AGT tooling and lifting equipment in line with LOLER regulations.
- Complete receipt inspection proforma (RIP) reports for AGT tooling kits, replacing consumables as required.

Shipping:
- Assist in loading, unloading, and packing of manual (ASMF) shipments for the AGT tooling department.

What You Bring

Product Familiarity:
- Demonstrated familiarity with SGT 100-400 and AGT A20, A35, and A65 engine ranges.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are also essential.
