A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrician for Routine Testing, your day will revolve around conducting mechanical and high-voltage tests on GIS systems above 72.5kV, ensuring compliance with IEC standards and customer requirements. You will collaborate with your team to perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) while providing technical support and maintenance for testing equipment. Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of our testing processes but also contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of our operations at Siemens Energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Routine test and FAT for GIS product
- Assembly and wiring operate for test objective
- Operate all routing test process and records based on testing instructions and project ITP
- Production quality management and control, problem solving for quality issues during testing
- Technical support and maintenance support for testing equipment
- Safety guidance and training for testing area
What You Bring
- Technical degree in electrical engineering or a related field; high voltage switchgear specialization preferred.
- Strong English communication skills related to GIS products and testing.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in testing high-voltage apparatus.
- Solid understanding of testing protocols and quality management.
- Commitment to teamwork and a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
