The Installation Supervisor for Converter/Valve Equipment is responsible for overseeing the assembly and installation activities for HVDC systems on construction sites.
How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
Area of Responsibility:
- Possess theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical installation of HV equipment.
- Organize and manage converter installation activities in coordination with site and commissioning teams.
- Plan and implement the assembly of converter modules, fibers, cooling, and primary equipment according to schedule.
- Control material quantities, work planning, material stock updates, and reporting.
- Coordinate material deliveries with assembly management, logistics, and companies.
- Provide technical leadership and assistance during assembly.
- Handle environmental protection and safety regulations in compliance with country-specific rules and back office specifications.
Interfaces and Supporting Roles:
- Supported by construction and assembly management, project management, and specialist department.
Work Preparation:
- Prepare for project-specific technical and organizational peculiarities.
- Coordinate with ECIP, operations planning, design, and technical project management.
- Incorporate lessons learned from previous projects.
Auxiliary Means:
- Use of assembly drawings, instructions, 3D visualization, implementation plans, parts lists, project organization diagrams, schedules, shipping documentation, and digital site material documentation.
Quality Management:
- Prepare and utilize EQC051 Acceptance Report for converter module and primary equipment.
- Document component completion and handover to commissioning.
- Update redline assembly drawings and instructions for as-built documentation.
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
Professional Education Engineer (Electrical Power Systems); Completed Electrical apprenticeship
Degree in Bachelor (B.Eng. / B.Sc) in Electrical Systems, IT or Communication Engineering
Foreign languages Fluent English / Basic German (optional)
Social competences:

- Teamwork and communication skills, networking
- Intercultural sensitivity
- Driving license (India and/or International).
