A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Duke Carolinas Resident Engineer, you will start each day motivated to anticipate and find solutions that satisfy our customers' needs. You will build and maintain customer relationships that create trust and reinforce Siemens Energy's mission of "Customer First." As an essential member of the Siemens Energy team, you will ensure that customer needs are met through the solutions and services being offered while supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of their facilities.

Please note that this position must be located within driving distance of Duke Energy power plants in the Duke Carolinas region, including H.F. Lee, W.S. Lee, Smith, and Sutton generating stations. Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Wilmington, or the surrounding areas may be desirable locations, as you will be expected to visit each site on a regular basis.

  • Contribute to the Total Maintenance Service (TMS) process by preparing, facilitating, and documenting TMS meetings between the customer and Siemens Energy personnel to plan maintenance outages and implement product modifications and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with customers and Siemens Energy repair facilities when components are sent off-site for refurbishment and/or repair.
  • Assist in communications between Siemens Energy and the customer during outages.
