A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a Digital Solutions Specialist to support cross-functional sales teams in Asia Pacific, with expertise in Power and Energy management and the broader digital portfolio. You will define innovative solution concepts for industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, and process sectors, leveraging our automation and electrical offerings alongside leading 3rd party partnerships.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Risk & Reporting: Support identification of technical risks and competitive challenges, while tracking metrics such as customer engagements, pipeline growth, RFIs/RFQs, and digital order intake.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring expectations are managed effectively
- Team Collaboration: Encourage a culture of cooperation and performance by guiding sales teams to recognize opportunities for digitalization.
- Solution Development: Work with Technology and Project Execution to design cost‑competitive digital solution concepts that enhance automation and electrical offerings, including inputs into proposals.
- Sales Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to identify target customers and opportunities, develop digital roadmaps, and help position value with senior decision makers.
- Industrial Focus: Apply the digital portfolio to oil & gas, chemicals, and other process industries, with emphasis on power and energy management. Support regional sales in shaping tailored digital solution concepts.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with equipment and systems in oil & gas, chemicals, and process industries, including customer business drivers and APAC regulatory frameworks. Exposure to SaaS models in industrial environments is beneficial.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of OT system architectures, OT/IT integration, IIoT technologies, ERP integration, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Sales & Business Development: Experience in value‑based selling and business development with senior decision makers; knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce is an advantage.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to foster teamwork, guide colleagues, and encourage agile ways of working across functions.
- Global & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities, with experience working in multicultural, cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment internationally.
