As a Digitalization Solution Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a pivotal role in driving our customer’s digital transformation through our Digitalization portfolio. You will leverage innovative technologies to design, implement, and optimize digital solutions that enhance the efficiency, reliability, cybersecurity and sustainability of energy operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Understand and analyze the technical requirements and challenges of our customers and translate them into tailored solutions based on our product portfolio.
• Supports in design, implementation, testing and validating our digital solutions to demonstrate its feasibility and value during POC/POV to customers
• Facilitates the implementation and integration of digital solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing DCS / SCADA systems data sources like OPC UA, OSI PI and integrate with customer’s Enterprise network
• Work closely with the product development team to address the technical inquiries and issues during the execution of the project, ensuring the digital solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative digital solutions tailored to the specific needs of energy systems and clients.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies in cybersecurity to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of digital solutions.
• Provide ongoing technical support and training to clients and internal teams to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of digital solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing digital solutions, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), data and cybersecurity SIEM analytics tools.
• Knowledge of network protocols. IP addressing, subnetting, and network architecture.
• Knowledge in configuring and managing network switches (Switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs)
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity fundamentals and relevant industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
