A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of some of the largest digital transformation initiatives in the organization, driving modernization, resilience, and scalability across our global technology landscape.

As a Senior Project Manager for global strategic projects, you will define and execute end‑to‑end implementation plans for complex projects, ensure on time delivery, manage risks, secure resource alignment, and orchestrate stakeholders across business and IT functions.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop detailed project plans for initiatives at local and global level, ensuring all activities required for successful implementation are included and aligned with the overarching strategy.
  • Plan and monitor project budgets, provide financial reporting, and ensure transparency for leadership and business partners.
  • Manage all standard project management disciplines: scheduling, work planning, risk and issue management, cost control, test management, operational readiness, and cutover planning.
  • Ensure architecture, design, and deployment activities comply with organizational standards, cybersecurity requirements, and approved engineering guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to the PMI-based project management methodology, including meeting Quality Gate requirements and regularly reporting status, milestones, and progress.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional, geographically distributed teams to enable seamless implementation of various IT components and successful handover to operations.

 

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with multiple end‑to‑end project deliveries.
  • Strong background in managing large‑scale technology programs involving complex governance, high‑impact deliverables, and multi‑regional stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, using user stories, backlogs, and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to work within global organizations and lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects with numerous stakeholders and complex organizational structures.
  • Excellent English communication skills for clear, confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our team is a dedicated group of IT Project Managers across North and Latin America, responsible for delivering large, strategic initiatives for Siemens Energy. We leverage proven project management methodologies—including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches—to ensure consistency, transparency, and successful outcomes. By applying structured planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement practices, we drive complex projects from concept to completion while aligning business goals with technology execution. Our collaborative, methodology-driven approach enables us to deliver high-impact results with efficiency, quality, and accountability.
