A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as the Customs Country Responsible for Italy, where you will be the go-to customs expert and primary contact for all customs-related matters. You will take charge of organizing and continuously enhancing the customs department, ensuring alignment with the Global Customs Internal Control Program and compliance with Italian customs and trade regulations. Imagine leading a team that drives efficiency and compliance while navigating the complexities of customs legislation and trade compliance. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will implement and continuously monitor the Siemens Energy Customs Internal Control Program (ICP) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring new customs legislation, regulatory changes, and emerging trends that impact our business.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sustainable customs processes that align with our organizational goals.
  • Act as the key communication channel between the customs function and Siemens Energy businesses, ensuring visibility on new strategies and organizational changes.
  • Provide expert guidance on trade compliance topics for national and regional projects, while coordinating with external business partners like customs brokers.

What You Bring

  • You hold a complete university degree in Business Administration, Law, or International Trade.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the field of customs, showcasing your expertise.
  • International experience, whether through working in international teams or abroad, is a valuable asset.
  • Proficiency in customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP or MIC is essential.
  • You are fluent in both Italian and English, with strong organizational capabilities and assertive communication skills.
