As a member of our global team for Artificial Intelligence, you will focus on computer vision applications for the energy industry. You will develop innovative methods and tools for automated defect detection, autonomous operation, and visual asset monitoring. These solutions enable quantitative component health assessments, facilitate systematic evaluations and design feedback, and ultimately enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability for our customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Designing and developing state-of-the-art computer vision solutions for integration into service and design applications.
- Collaborating within cross-functional teams to coordinate and integrate computer vision methods and technologies across different fields of application.
- Driving further adoption of computer vision applications across the company through knowledge sharing, demonstration of state-of-the-art concepts, and supporting technical training.
- Staying informed about the latest developments in computer vision, machine learning, and data science, and proactively identifying opportunities to apply these technologies to solve real-world problems in the energy industry.
- Collaborating in a partner ecosystem across industry and academia to drive research and leverage know-how in this field.
- Documenting the developed methods and processes and presenting results to stakeholders across the organization on a regular basis.
What You Bring
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or image processing.
- Excellent analytical skills and profound expertise in modern computer vision techniques, including object detection, semantic and instance segmentation, feature extraction, and 3D reconstruction.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages, with experience in computer vision libraries and machine learning frameworks, and familiarity with GPU programming.
- Good mathematical and 3D geometry background, featuring a robust foundation in linear algebra, optimization, and an understanding of 3D geometry and computer graphics, along with knowledge of sensor technologies.
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, open-minded and willing to learn.
- Ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary, multinational, global teams.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Enthusiastic about data and analytics, driving the use of data across all parts of a business and ecosystem.
