A Snapshot of Your Day

You will start your day with a safety briefing and site walk-through to ensure a secure working environment. You'll inspect and set up equipment, conduct functional tests, and calibrate instruments. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues, ensuring all systems meet project specifications and regulatory standards. You will participate in meetings with clients to provide updates and obtain sign-offs, and wrap up your day by documenting your findings and preparing for the next day's tasks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will be responsible for commissioning works primarily in Estland, with occasional assignments in the Finland, Baltic and Nordic countries. Our customers are typically Transmission and Distribution Utilities, but not limited to these.

The works are mainly related to High-Voltage Substations. Your tasks as Commissioning Engineer include commissioning activities and resource management, coordinating teams, controlling time management and costs, analyzing, and managing risks, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for reporting the progress of the work. Involvement in the project offering phase, supporting sales by defining the work, finding subcontractors, budgeting, etc., gives you variation to the site routines. You will be an integral part of the Finnish and Baltic and Northern & Central Europe Service team.

What You Bring

  • A technical educational background or equivalent experience, preferably in electricity.
  • Experience in site commissioning and project works in a similar function or business area.
  • Proven work safety experience during the project execution phase.
  • Familiarity with Power Distribution and Transmission systems and equipment.
  • Driven and motivated to collaborate with customers, seeking the best possible solutions.
  • Ability to influence and think “out of the box.”
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, in Estonian and English. Other Nordic or Baltic languages are considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently in Estland and possibly in Northern Europe, Baltic & Nordic countries, including overnight stays.
