A Snapshot of Your Day
Provide dedicated financial and administrative support to the Global Service Operations for Industrial Steam Turbines & Generators, professionalizing a key support function. The role will focus on three primary areas: Project Financial Control, Order & Contract Management, and associated Reporting & Analysis. This structure ensures comprehensive commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial order to final financial closing, directly contributing to improved financial performance and process efficiency
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in commercial project execution by handling contractual and financial questions and coordinating required organizational tasks.
- Prepare project financial reports including regular and ad‑hoc status updates for project managers and finance leadership.
- Analyze financial performance to identify deviations from budget, investigate root causes, and propose corrective actions.
- Maintain project master data and ensure accuracy of all commercial and financial information in ERP systems such as SAP.
- Manage orders and contracts by processing customer orders, overseeing commercial aspects of service contracts from entry to final invoice, and coordinating with sales, logistics, and project management.
- Handle invoicing and cash processes by issuing customer invoices, supporting accounts receivable, and contributing to monthly cash and asset management activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in project cost control and order management, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering‑service environment.
- Strong financial controlling background including project controlling, cost management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of commercial processes such as contract management, invoicing, and general commercial administration.
- Technical proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP FI/CO/SD modules, and familiarity with digitalization tools like Alteryx and Power Automate.
- Strong behavioral and communication skills including attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, collaboration, and excellent written and oral English.
