As a Cash and Bank Analyst at Siemens Energy, your day will involve supporting daily operations by managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate month-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting issues, perform bank reconciliations, ensure the right exchange rates posting, monitoring and supporting payments process, attending audits and others related to banks. Your role will also include validating bank statement imports, investigate payment rejections, and participating in process improvement initiatives, all while fostering strong partnerships within the finance community. How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Ensure timely and error-free import/upload of bank statements (manual and automatic) in SAP, and reconcile balances between SAP and bank interface
• Perform bank account reconciliations, follow up on aged items, and resolve payment rejections through coordination with relevant parties.
• Record and reconcile all cash transactions, including interim cash-related general ledger accounts and bank-related interim account clearing.
• Execute special booking transactions such as overpayments, employee-related entries, tax authority payments, and wage tax.
• Create journal entries for internal and external bank accounts, ensuring accurate exchange rate postings and supporting the payment process.
• Complete month-end activities related to cash and bank, and participate in audits as required.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field — or equivalent experience in Cash and Banks accounting.
• Experience in Cash and Banks accounting or Finance Operations preferred.
• Basic understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; Power BI and data analysis are a plus.
• Solid grasp of SAP business processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
