Business Development at Siemens Energy
We are looking for driven and able commerce grauate willing to work under pressure to assist Business Development in building our portfolio and Customer footprint in Southern Africa.
Business Development is the key entry point to Siemens Energy for new Customers and opportunities. You will be assisting us to grow our business into target countries and industry verticals.
You would be working with a Team of five experienced and dynamic Business Development Professionals.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct Go2Market research & prepare presentations.
- Arrange Roadshows / Customer events including creating and sending invitations, following up with Customers, arranging venues, etc.
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through tender portals and working with the Business Development Team.
- Write social media content (Linkedin, etc.) that highlights Business Development activities in the region, newsletters (internal & external), etc.
- Adding and maintaining contacts in SalesForce, etc.
- This includes tasks like creating & track actions in Teams, processing Travel & Expenditure claims for Business Development, etc.
What You Bring
We are looking for a graduate with a degree or diploma in commerce.
Further, requirements:
- Have a clear criminal record.
- Be able to meet deadlines.
- Good organisational, administration and time management skills.
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Be able to perform under pressure.
- A proactive attitude.
- Personal integrity and trustworthiness.
- A willingness to treat all people with respect, integrity, and consistency.
- A capacity for persistence and resilience and patience in a sometimes-challenging environment.
- An appreciation of the value of teamwork and willingness to work as part of a team, providing support for other team members as required.
Business Development
Business Development is responsible building Customer relationships, gathering market intelligence,
promoting all of Siemens Energy’s portfolios across many Customer verticals, building a pipeline of opportunities and pushing them through the sales process to gain order intake, managing a CRM system and networking internally and externally.
We are the key that drives new business into Siemens Energy.
