A Snapshot of Your Day

A typical day in this role involves leading bid and proposal management activities for power generation projects across Mexico and Central America. will coordinate closely with commercial, technical, and operations teams to ensure timely complaints, and competitive proposals. Your day may include risk reviews, pricing validations, and strategy meetings to align offers with customer expectations and company objectives. will also monitor deadlines, track progress, and contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance proposal quality and business performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement a winning marketing (bid management) strategy that is aligned with the regional budget/sales target objectives
• Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals in response to client inquiries meet Siemens Energy´s standards for quality, completeness and timeliness
• Prepare and submit in a timely manner the project pre-release and order entry packages to the Operations team
• Complete the Risk and Opportunity Analysis process prior to issuing proposals, paying particular focus on margin screens, currency risks, payment terms, cash flow, cancellation terms, and execution risks
• Identify cost and time-saving opportunities inside the proposal development process, or stem from Non-Conformance instances and implement process improvement initiatives
•  Reviews the proposal process for compliance with established regional processes, including proposal completeness, accuracy, degree of configuration, cash flow analyses, risk assessment forms (execution, commercial, legal), solution configuration, on-time submittals, etc.

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Degree from an accredited higher education institution or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years’ working experience related to bid management and public and private tender processes
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills in Spanish & English
• Team management experience
• General awareness of Industrial & distributed power generation service market and broad knowledge of technologies like steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, generators, engines etc.
