Join us as a Bid Manager and take charge of the entire process of developing, preparing, and submitting winning proposals and tenders to secure new contracts for our Turn Key High Voltage Substation business. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, finance, project managers, and engineering, to create compelling and competitive bid responses. Your role will involve managing bid resources and budgets, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and achieving submission deadlines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Bid Strategy & Planning: Develop strategic approaches for bids and create detailed plans to ensure all steps are completed within the required time and financial parameters.
• Proposal Development: Craft comprehensive, clear, and compliant bid proposals that address client needs and highlight the company’s unique value.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (sales, finance, legal, technical) to gather information, align strategies, and ensure the bid is complete and cohesive.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could affect the bid and project execution success.
• Submission & Post-Submission: Ensure all proposals are accurate, submitted on time, and follow up on the bid after submission, including presentations and negotiations in coordination with Sales.

What You Bring

• You hold an Electrical Engineering degree.
• You are proficient in English and Spanish, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You have more than 3 years of experience as a Bid Manager for High Voltage substations, managing bids and tenders, with extensive experience in preparing technical and commercial bids.
• You possess strong technical knowledge in Substations and a clear understanding of BoQ, with analytical and strategic components.
• You have experience in business prospecting and pre-sales.
• You have experience preparing and defending bids for clients.
• You have strong proficiency in Office suites (Word, Excel, PPT).
