Sobre el papel
A Snapshot of Your Day
Step into a role where your expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) enhances the planning, design, and delivery of complex construction projects. As a BIM Specialist, you’ll develop and manage digital building models that ensure accuracy, coordination, and data transparency across all phases of a Siemens Energy construction project. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to optimize workflows, prevent clashes, and support data driven decision making. Join us and help shape the digital foundations of the built environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead BIM delivery on major construction projects, ensuring compliance with corporate BIM standards, ISO 19650 guidelines, and digital engineering best practices.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain multidisciplinary BIM models (architecture, structural, MEP) to support accurate design, construction communication, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Ensure model quality and compliance through regular clash detection, data validation, and design coordination reviews, integrating BIM data with project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and digital twin environments.
- Establish and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs), SOPs, workflows, and model audit processes across global projects while driving opportunities for automation, improved data structures, and advanced analytics.
- Support construction teams with model-based insights for sequencing, logistics planning, quantity extraction, and on-site coordination, delivering accurate digital handover packages to operations and facilities management.
- Promote continuous innovation in BIM, enhancing integration, model usability, and expansion of model-based applications for project and asset lifecycle optimization.
What You Bring
- Over 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, coordination, or digital engineering, ideally within construction, industrial facilities, or corporate real estate.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and frameworks including ISO 19650, LOD definitions, and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, with proficiency in conducting clash detection, model audits, and data quality checks.
- Proficiency with industry BIM software and tools such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Solibri, or similar model coordination platforms.
- Solid understanding of design and construction processes, including BIM integration into scheduling, costing, quality assurance, and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration skills for working with multicultural, cross-disciplinary teams, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related fields, combined with advanced English proficiency and readiness to travel as needed.
