A Snapshot of Your Day
In this dynamic role, you will be integral to the commissioning, maintenance, exchange, updating, and repair of automation components, including DCS, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks. Your expertise will extend to making modifications to control systems in accordance with engineering instructions, ensuring that all systems operate at peak efficiency. Additionally, you will actively participate in the process optimization of electrolysis plants, contributing to the advancement of innovative energy solutions. Your work will not only enhance the reliability and performance of critical automation systems but also support the transition to more sustainable energy practices.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (HSE) to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Supervise and finish the commissioning and service work within the defined scope, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Conduct and supervise service and inspection activities on electrolysis plants and their auxiliary systems to guarantee optimal performance.
- Process and verify all associated documentation meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and instruct subcontractors on construction sites, fostering collaboration and alignment to project specifications.
- Identify and report discrepancies and non-conformities, proposing project-specific solutions to improve overall project success and facilitate expertise sharing.
What You Bring
- Hold a university degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, automation technology, or electrical engineering with a focus on industrial electronics.
- Demonstrate unlimited worldwide willingness to travel for field service, ensuring flexibility and dedication to project needs.
- Possess experience with the PCS 7 automation system, which is desirable but not required for the role.
- Understand standards and norms for industrial plants
- Exhibit strong communication skills, along with team cohesion and coordination abilities to foster effective collaboration.
- Have a basic understanding of automation system concepts, industrial networks, Windows Server administration, industrial communication protocols, and virtualization in client or server environments, with a keen interest in functional safety and a willingness to grow in the field of electrolysis.
