Identifying and solving issues that have an impact on important business decisions across Siemens Energy globally. Assurance Manager will lead assurance engagements to identify the root cause of critical issues, assess the level of impact on the business, and advise Senior Management on defined actions to mitigate and prevent identified issues in the future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supervise the planning, preparation, and execution of multiple highly complex engagements. Provide guidance and coaching to the Assurance Professionals in the coordination and execution of the audit scope across multiple sites.
• Handle the audits as an engagement owner and be part of the team throughout the entire audit process. Responsible for completing audits (i.e., risk assessment, prioritization, audit execution and reporting). Actively provide clarification amongst team members on engagement task requirements, processes, controls and technical matters as needed.
• Support audits in diverse roles as per the requirement including being hands-on in performing deep dive in complex/critical scope areas of audit engagements.
• Establish business relationships with Senior Management to develop an understanding of risk areas within the organization and which business issues would require support from the Finance Audit.
• Supervise direct reports and promote their professional development through mentoring, career coaching, and participation in the Performance Management Process (PMP)!
• Review the working papers of team members and discuss critical audit findings with the Assurance Directors and Head of Practice. Discuss clear audit findings with the client and agree on planned management actions. Review the initial sections of the audit report and lead discussions with management.

What You Bring

• Strong academic background including a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business-related course of study.
• At least 10 years of relevant audit and/or transaction services/financial due diligence experience in industries like Siemens Energy (manufacturing, product business, construction contracts or project accounting) or comparable experience within Siemens Energy.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage direct reports and lead diverse cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in designing, executing, and managing financial audit or financial due diligence engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills!
• Travel required (20-30%): domestic and international.
