A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Assistant District Service Manager (ADSM), your day will involve direction and support of field service resources required to repair, analyze, and advise on operation of power generation equipment in nuclear power facilities.

The ADSM will coordinate efforts across multiple product lines and personnel, ensuring timely decisions to maximize service quality and customer satisfaction. This role will also include monitoring job costs, reviewing cost estimates, supporting site engineers and communicating service engineering recommendations as part of the service team.

You will be responsible for supporting all work scopes within the district service area of assigned responsibility. This is an office position in Chattanooga, TN (preferred) or Orlando, FL, directly supporting the District Service Manager and has a high degree of internal and external customer interaction. If in Orlando, travel will be required to support internal and external meetings and outages!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Initiate, coordinate, and expedite the efforts of all product lines and district personnel in the performance of field service projects.
  • Provide technical, administrative, tooling, and personnel support for customers and multi-shift work teams.
  • Provide support in maintaining unit and district records, manage resources effectively, and offer leadership to the team.
  • Support district to review and track vendor invoices, comparing them to estimates before approval. Track project tooling costs and ensure accurate job closeout with tool facilities.
  • Assist with directing complex activities of multiple jobsites and coordinate proper actions to maintain safe work schedules with an approach focused on quality and support project resource plans, including dispatch of district engineers and product line personnel.

What You Bring

  • BS in an engineering or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience, or combined equivalent of supervisory, project engineering, and field engineering experience along with educational/military background.
  • Experience in general maintenance of large nuclear steam turbines, generators, and associated equipment. Operating knowledge is a plus! Knowledge in SAP and Salesforce Lightning is also a plus.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to internal and external customers.
  • Working Knowledge of Primavera and MySPGI.
  • Ability to work in Nuclear Power environments including fitness for duty testing and security screening.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
