A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Product Manager – CPQ Tacton, you will play a key role in shaping, governing, and evolving one of the most businesscritical sales tools within the Service Segment at Siemens Energy. You operate at the intersection of business strategy, stakeholder alignment, and Cost Price Quote deliveryensuring that development decisions are wellprepared, transparent, and aligned with agreed priorities.  

Working closely with stakeholders in the Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) segment in Finspång, you’ll help translate complex business needs into clear, well-structured priorities and requirements. You translate complex information into clear, testable, and decisionready requirements before development begins. 

You’ll also contribute to a broader, international context by supporting other service segments and product lines, including Aero Gas Turbines, Small Gas Turbines, and Compression solutions. Collaborating with colleagues across the UK, USA, Canada, and Germany, you’ll bring structure and alignment while respecting and empowering local ownership. 

Your daytoday work involves close collaboration with Sales, cost owners, CPQ developers, and platform rolespreparing decisions, supporting delivery planning, and ensuring predictable communication across stakeholders. 

How Youll Make an Impact 

  • Take end-to-end ownership of CPQ Tacton within MGT—shaping direction, setting priorities, and ensuring meaningful, high-quality delivery 
  • Translate complex needs into clear, thoughtful decision material for senior stakeholders and SteCo, enabling confident and well-informed decisions 
  • Act as a trusted connector between business stakeholders, development teams, and platform roles—creating alignment, clarity, and shared understanding 
  • Bring structure to business requirements and change requests, ensuring transparency, readiness, and smooth progression from idea to implementation 
  • Foster a predictable, supportive way of working through clear communication, follow-up, and reduced ambiguity 
  • Contribute to the broader Gas Turbine and Compression landscape by supporting coordination, clarifying dependencies, and enabling the right decisions at the right time 
  • Help strengthen common ways of working across GSO CPQ—creating clarity, flow, and a more cohesive collaboration environment 

What You Bring 

  • Solid experience in product management or structured business leadership, preferably in complex, salesrelated systems, CPQ environments and/or IT environments.  
  • Natural ability to break down complex business input into clear priorities, requirements, and decision material 
  • Experience working with crossfunctional and international stakeholders 
  • A structured and analytical mindset, balanced with clear, confident, and empathetic communication.  
  • Background or interest in programming and system logic, enabling effective collaboration with CPQ developers and understanding of configuration principles and technical constraints 
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written 

Beneficial / Helpful Skills 

  • Experience with CPQ tools (Tacton or similar) 
  • Understanding of sales processes, product structures, or configurable offerings 
  • Familiarity with agile or iterative delivery environments 
  • Experience working at the interface between business and development teams

The Sales Operations team is part of the Product Positioning function within the Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Service Segment. The team focuses on three core areas: Sales tool development and support, Customer Portal and CRM data support and Marketing 

Together, the team works toward a common goal: enabling reliable sales tools and clear customer messaging that support efficient and predictable sales execution. 

At the heart of this setup is CPQ Tacton—a business-critical system that shapes everything from configuration accuracy and pricing quality to quotation speed, margins, and customer experience. Supported by a well-structured setup of product management, platform roles, and dedicated development capacity, the team works seamlessly across the full lifecycle—from concept and configuration to quotation and delivery.
