A Snapshot of Your Day

Ensure implementation of and adherence to strategies, policies, processes, and methods for service operations activities (technically and/or commercially), for assigned organizational unit.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Implements defined superior policies and guidelines, and defines and ensures implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools.
  • Ensures the delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, and profitability.
  • Implements workforce development measures.
  • Acts a primary escalation contact to customers and resolves issues with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Supervises/conducts the negotiation of and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Supports in developing service leads.
  • Ensures obeying regional laws and regulations.
  • Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated staff

What You Bring

  • A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
  • Relevant experience from the wind industry is preferred.
  • To be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner passing on knowledge to site personnel with varied competency.
  • Broad understanding of wind turbine technologies
  • Understanding of turbine interface tools used locally within the turbine or remotely.
  • Advanced IT skills including all aspects of MS Office.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to departmental processes and procedures.
  • Have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to the role –working away from home and unsociable hours when required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada, and presently reside in Canada. Also, travel to customer sites within and outside Canada is a requirement of the job. Must be eligible to hold a valid Passport and Driver’s License

About the Team  

The candidate will work together with a multi-disciplinary group to ensure top performance of three 3.0MW Direct Drive platform Wind Farms, located in both Ontario and Quebec.
