A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a EHS Manager (f/m/d), you’ll shape a global safety culture across eight factories, drive carbon-neutrality initiatives, and lead projects from CO₂ and SF₆ reduction to ISO 14001/45001 compliance and HOP integration. Your work safeguards our teams, promotes Siemens Energy’s sustainability objectives, and excels in a collaborative, transparent, and environment passionate about progress.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Advising and supporting the GT Switchgear business on internal and external environmental, health and safety requirements
  • Driving the development of safety culture through initiatives in organizational safety culture (HOP, SCL and BBS)
  • Supporting and tracking CO₂ and SF₆ improvement measures in collaboration with the carbon-neutral team
  • Continuously improving the Zero Harm framework and the integrated management system with focus on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Initiating and delivering EHS-related trainings within the EQS team as well as the exchange of information, lessons learned and standard processes
  • Analyzing EHS data including root cause analysis of incidents, deriving actions, reporting, and closing regulatory gaps

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with technical background in engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years EHS experience in manufacturing or related industry, preferably in the product business of Grid Technologies; a Certification as specialist for occupational safety is an advantage
  • Experience in promoting safety culture, driving safety leadership, and applying Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) principles
  • Expertise in high-risk activities (e.g. cranes and lifting, machine guarding and interlocks), energy isolation and lockout/tagout, and working at height; knowledge of EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and related methodologies such as auditing and root cause investigation
  • Strong skills in conducting workshops, assessments, coaching and incident investigations, openness to intercultural cooperation, willingness to travel as well as high result orientation, and teamwork mentality
  • Good written English, additional language skills such as German, Portuguese or Spanish are advantageous
