A Snapshot of Your Day 

You act as a key interface between Controlling and Commercial Project Management, ensuring smooth collaboration across functions. Your day includes collecting and analyzing data for forecasts, monthly closings, and operational performance comparisons, as well as performing cost center controlling, reconciliations, and intercompany invoicing. You prepare monthly financial forecasts for project bookings, revenue, and costs, support the team with ad-hoc analyses and conceptual project work, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and EVA. Working in an international environment, you gain valuable insights into both project and department controlling – creating opportunities for your personal and professional growth.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Perform data collection for the development of forecasts, monthly analysis of actual results and operational performance comparisons
  • Perform data collection for historical and trend analysis, cost center controlling, account reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, and other month end closing activities
  • Support the team on ad-hoc analyses and special requests and contribute to conceptual and project work related to business controlling
  • Monthly financial forecast preparation for project bookings, revenue, and cost
  • Cost controlling and accounting as well as ongoing process optimization to ensure rationalization potentials, for productivity and EVA (Economic Value Added) increase
What You Bring
  • University degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, finance, or similar field
  • Several years experience in the commercial aspects and project financials (controlling & reporting) of engineering and construction projects
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial software applications, SAP (KSP) as well as MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, information analysis
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or other business intelligence applications favorable
  • Full business proficiency in German and good English skills required

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
