A Snapshot of your Day
Siemens Gamesa Site Assessment in Hamburg is looking for student assistant to support the team with a focus on the German market. Your tasks will include:
How You'll Make an Impact
- Wind analysis of German onshore wind projects
- Review of site suitability reports
- Performing energy yield, noise and shadow calculations in WindPRO
- Learning and acquiring relevant theory, techniques, methods, tools and processes, in the respective area
- Supporting other qualified staff in their tasks and responsibilities
What You Bring
- Ongoing master studies, preferably in the beginning, at a technical university
- Basic knowledge of wind turbine functionality and aerodynamics
- Solid understanding of natural sciences such as mathematics, physics and mechanics/statics
- Confident use of electronic data processing and MS Office, especially Excel
- Basic knowledge of geography (coordinate systems, cartography)
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit
- Fluency in English and German
