A Snapshot of your Day

Siemens Gamesa Site Assessment in Hamburg is looking for student assistant to support the team with a focus on the German market. Your tasks will include:

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Wind analysis of German onshore wind projects
  • Review of site suitability reports
  • Performing energy yield, noise and shadow calculations in WindPRO
  • Learning and acquiring relevant theory, techniques, methods, tools and processes, in the respective area 
  • Supporting other qualified staff in their tasks and responsibilities

What You Bring
  • Ongoing master studies, preferably in the beginning, at a technical university
  • Basic knowledge of wind turbine functionality and aerodynamics
  • Solid understanding of natural sciences such as mathematics, physics and mechanics/statics
  • Confident use of electronic data processing and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Basic knowledge of geography (coordinate systems, cartography)
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit
  • Fluency in English and German
