How to contribute to our vision
This request is for a temporary, part-time Wind Maintenance Technician Student to support the Onshore Service Operations team in France. The role is intended to provide a two-month practical learning experience for a student while offering assistance to the existing team. To fulfill this objective, the position is structured around two core areas: providing hands-on support to experienced technicians during on-site maintenance activities, and learning fundamental operational processes, documentation, and safety protocols. This approach ensures a blend of practical assistance and foundational training. Given the focus on learning and support, the ideal candidate will be a student currently enrolled in a relevant technical program. Key requirements include a strong willingness to learn, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team under direct supervision.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 70% On-Site Maintenance Support
- Assist senior technicians in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines under direct supervision.
- Support the preparation of tools, equipment, and materials required for daily maintenance tasks.
- Observe and learn troubleshooting procedures for basic mechanical and electrical systems.
- Adhere to and support the execution of all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols during on-site activities.
- 30% Operational Learning and Documentation
- Assist with the accurate documentation of maintenance activities and the completion of basic service reports.
- Learn to use internal software and systems for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to understand operational workflows and team objectives.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a vocational or university program in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance).
- No prior professional experience is required; this is an entry-level student position.
