A Snapshot of Your Day

The Incumbent is responsible as the primary interface between Siemens Energy and Siemens Energy customers for processing warranty claims on transformers for Grid Technologies Sales North America. Additionally, this role will act as a process quality manager responsible supporting the Project Management process milestones.  Tasks include overseeing collection of warranty claims, working with internal stakeholders, including factories, project managers, service organization and finance team, to bring resolution to the warranty claim. Additional tasks include supporting project managers with claims management and analysis of quality topics.

In this high visibility role, you will be interfacing with the global factory network, local stakeholders, suppliers and the GT Service team. You will also be supporting the implementation of business processes as we navigate growth.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Improve customer satisfaction through clear lines of communication on warranty and quality topics.
  • Provide quality data feedback to manufacturing for future product improvements
  • Organize and follow up on repair status with internal stakeholders
  • Work with procurement and finance to close financial topics on repair 
  • Work with Project Managers where needed on claims management and quality topics
  • Develop processes that improve the efficiency and flow of claims through  the Order Management and Service/Warranty process

 

What You Bring  

Candidate must have a strong communication skillset while communicating with customers and integrating various stakeholders into the warranty repair process.

  • Experience with power transformers a plus
  • Strong ability to work across multiple teams and ability to collaborate with numerous job functions to achieve a common goal 
  • Experience in quality management and processes during project execution
  • Understanding of importance of implementing business processes to help support team in a fast-growing business
  • Proven experience in implementing digital solutions that streamlined processes and improved efficiencies

  •  You want to have an impact on the business’ performance and change the status quo. 
  • Technical education, such as university graduate in Electrical Engineering or similar and
  • 4+ years of experience in process management / improvement, as well as coordinating international networks of customers, partners and suppliers 
  • Knowledge in Microsoft 365 and SAP. Experience in Mendix platform a plus.
  • Fluent in English - both in writing and speaking (German and / or Spanish is not mandatory but it would be a plus)
