A Snapshot of Your Day

As VAT Specialist in our Tax Intelligence team you take an active role in digitizing and enhancing our reporting and processes inside Function Taxes. You will be involved in discussions with our Business about actual and new business models and its VAT treatment. You will have a role as coordinator for running new digitalization projects where a good understanding of European VAT law is essential.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support/lead global tax applications projects as a part of our tax team to ensure compliance with VAT regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Define tax requirements together with SAP experts and cross-functional teams affected by tax requirements.
• Manage and optimize VAT-related processes in SAP.
• Analyse and interpret tax data to support decision-making and compliance; Monitor changes in VAT legislation and update processes accordingly
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to integrate VAT requirements into business processes.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on VAT-related matters.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in VAT compliance, tax advisory, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing VAT processes and reporting.
• Experience working with SAP in a tax-related capacity, along with experience in data analysis and data-driven decision-making in the context of tax.
• In-depth knowledge of European VAT regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in VAT reporting and tax software (tax modules: FI, CO, SD, MM, Service Module), along with a strong understanding of data management and analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent command of English.
