A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for following up on ongoing tender processes, engaging with the rest of the team in the development of  solutions that meet the client's expectations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As a Bid Management Specialist, you will work under the Head of Bid Management, developing opportunities and managing ongoing bids for our energy transmission business, with a focus on HV/MV substations and other transmission-related systems.
  • Using your commercial and technical skills, you will contribute to the development of competitive, customer-centric, brand new solutions that align with Siemens Energy’s strategic goals.
  • You will analyze international tender processes, identify deliverables, address critical issues, develop budgets, and collaborate with financial, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure successful offer delivery.
  • Additionally, you will support management in other bid-related processes within the organization, including go/no-go assessments, risk analysis, lessons learned, opportunity tracking, and market development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in high voltage power systems (substations, generation, renewables or similar), in roles as offer management, engineering or project management.
  • A dedicated, passionate, and diligent profile, with a strong attention to detail and an attitude geared towards achieving targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both spoken and written, in English.
  • Proficiency in essential software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
