Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
Together, we are committed to making sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy a reality by pushing the boundaries of what is possible. As a leading player in the wind industry and manufacturer of wind turbines, we are passionate about driving the energy transition and providing innovative solutions that meet the growing energy demand of the global community.
About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As technical trainer you will be a part of dedicated team responsible for the delivery of our technical training portfolio, evaluating training material, recommending improvements, and staying knowledgeable about our wind turbines and technology. You will be a part of training activities both locally and abroad and an estimate of 15 travel days per year is to be expected. Training methods are changing, and we are looking into a much more digital future. Online and virtual training will be a big part of that, and it is therefore important that you can see yourself conducting these types of courses and not only classic classroom training. Having the opportunity to train our windfarms technicians allows you to participate in a reality that is crucial to our company. On the one hand, you will provide our technicians with essential machine knowledge so they can be more efficient in their work and thus have more resources to do their jobs better. On the other hand, safety comes first, and it will be important to you that all our technicians know how to work safely.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Combining technical expertise with effective communication to empower learners.
- Communicating the content of the trainings in a clear and understandable manner. The training must match the learners' skill levels, roles, and learning styles—whether they are beginners needing foundational knowledge or experienced professionals looking to upskill.
- Ability to keep your participants engaged and interested fostering Real-World Application: training is not just theoretical but includes hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios, enabling trainees to immediately apply what they’ve learned on the job.
- Continuous Improvement: By gathering feedback after sessions and analyzing training outcomes, you will help us to refine course content and delivery methods to maximize engagement and retention.
- Encouraging a Growth Mindset: You’ll cultivate a learning culture by motivating learners to embrace continuous learning, adapt to new technologies, and build confidence in their technical abilities.
What You Bring
- Strong communication skills and ability to share knowledge clearly
- Technical background and work experience, preferably within wind, production, or similar hands-on environments
- Teaching experience is highly desirable but not an imperative requirement. You need to be motivated by standing in front of people and taking the trainer role.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with a structured approach
- Fluency in English – written and spoken. Fluency in Danish is an advantage.
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn and develop, including new training methods
About the Team
The team you'll be part of is an international team composed of several trainers located in different parts of Europe. All with the same mission: to offer high-quality training that helps make a difference in the daily work of our technicians in the park. It's a dynamic team, where there's great camaraderie and a good working environment.
