Imagine starting your day with a warm cup of coffee, diving into emails, and connecting with your team, most of whom are based in Germany. Your morning is dedicated to working within the content management system, finalizing one of your exciting projects. As the afternoon unfolds, you engage in strategic coordination meetings focused on software roadmaps and other key topics. You also collaborate with internal customers to clarify requirements for upcoming projects, ensuring everything is on track for success.



How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You will create, update, and maintain technical documentation for Siemens Energy products and tools.
  • Develop and edit content in an XML-based editorial system, adhering to legal, normative, and audience-specific guidelines.
  • Design graphics to enhance written descriptions, making complex information accessible.
  • Collaborate on the evolution of editorial systems and processes, driving innovation.
  • Develop concepts for standardizing technical documentation and design cross-software interfaces to improve processes and tool exchanges.



What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in technical studies like mechanical engineering or computer sciences with a focus on technical communication, or linguistic studies with a focus on technical documentation.
  • Over 2 years of professional experience in technical writing or related fields.
  • Proficiency in XML-based editing systems and target group-oriented writing with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent English skills, with German skills being a plus.
  • A strong affinity for software, ideally with experience in software development, and knowledge of SAP and Microsoft 365 tools.
