About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will provide dedicated technical back-office sales support to the North and South America regions, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of industrial generator service orders. Your day will involve close collaboration with sales teams, internal operational areas, and customers to maintain business continuity within the Generator Order Management unit. You will manage the full order lifecycle—from quotation to fulfillment—while ensuring clear communication, timely execution, and accurate documentation across all channels.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the primary back-office contact for sales teams and customers on order status, product availability, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and organize customer quotes, proposals, and sales contracts with a high level of accuracy.
- Provide technical product information to support the creation of precise and competitive sales proposals.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, finance, and logistics teams to enable smooth order fulfillment and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Process and monitor sales orders in SAP, ensuring completeness, feasibility, and compliance with company and regional standards.
- Generate and maintain order-related documentation and sales operations reports to support data accuracy and business visibility
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in order management, sales operations, or technical customer support in an industrial or B2B environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP applications, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Strong teamwork, proactive communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and intercultural competence to collaborate effectively across regions.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.
About the Team
You will join the Generator Order Management unit, a collaborative and cross-functional team dedicated to ensuring operational continuity and high-quality service for industrial generator customers across the Americas. The team works closely with sales, engineering, logistics, and finance to manage the complete order lifecycle and deliver reliable, customer-centered solutions.
