We’re looking for passionate and brilliant engineers to be part of global Engineering Support TMS (Technical Maintenance Services) team, based in Seoul. This individual will continuously track our customer power plant operational status, timely provide technical recommendation to ensure stable operation, successful scheduled or forced outages.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • This position will focus on support of Siemens Energy heavy duty gas turbines in Korea, Japan
  • Support the preparation of maintenance outages as part of cross functional and global teams
  • Provide technical support for regional sales, field service and marketing
  • Support during analysis of damage events and elaboration of improvement measures.
  • Present technical solutions during internal- and external meetings
  • As a regional service engineer you will be more of an all-rounder than a specialist but with the support from a worldwide network of specialists and experts as well as software systems you will learn something new with every question you answer.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor, Master or comparable engineering degrees on Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 2 years Solid knowledge on Gas Turbine technology and/or Steam Turbine technology or fresh graduate with solid engineering background 
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in Korean and English
  • Have a drive to find the optimum solution to technical problems with the aim to increase customer satisfaction: Understands the regional needs; Develop recommendations for solutions based on practical and theoretical experience; Works together with the engineering departments to develop the solutions to meet the requirements
  • Have a broad intercultural experience and like to work within international teams
  • Strong interest to increase the knowledge on technology and tools to achieve better results

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
