A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer position in Jackson, MS reporting to the Quality Manager. The position is accountable for ensuring product/process integrity for high voltage circuit breakers and transformer components through the development and implementation of systems that support New Product Introduction and for activities (internal/external) related to Process Development/Qualification/Optimization as well as Product/Supplier Certification in line with company protocols/objectives.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supporting new supplier development, conducting supplier audits, and maintaining the approved supplier database
  • Training and supporting suppliers on quality systems, tools, processes, and PPQ/FAI requirements
  • Performing supplier document reviews, quality notifications, containment activities, and CAPA follow‑through to closure
  • Monitoring and improving supplier quality performance through metrics, scorecards, and development plans
  • Driving reduction of nonconformances by leading root‑cause investigations, corrective/preventive actions, and cross‑functional issue resolution
  • Participating in quality system implementation, internal audits, procedure writing, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
  • Basic knowledge of high‑voltage products, GD&T, and SAP
  • Supplier quality or supplier development experience
  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, conflict‑resolution, and teamwork abilities across multidisciplinary groups
  • Self‑motivation, ability to work with minimal direction, strong computer and data‑mining skills, and capacity to build relationships and learn independently

Willing and able to travel, as needed (domestic and worldwide)
