A Snapshot of Your Day  

Be the go-to technical lead for the full project lifecycle—acting as the key connection point between Siemens Energy, customers, contractors, and project stakeholders. You’ll drive the engineering scope for turnkey AIS & GIS substation projects, aligning multiple engineering disciplines to deliver a fully integrated design. You’ll review drawings and technical documentation with a sharp eye for quality and compliance, ensuring every deliverable meets customer expectations and industry standards. You’ll also provide hands-on support through procurement and construction, answering design questions, removing roadblocks, and keeping the project moving forward. 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact   

  • Lead technical coordination calls amongst engineering teams 
  • Manage the submittal of drawings and documents to customers and construction contractors 
  • Review equipment specifications and RFQ packages to ensure equipment purchased meets the project requirements 
  • Create Scopes of Work for Installation work 
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering packages 
  • Track out of scope work to ensure contract adherence and help support claims management 

 

What You Bring   

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred) 
  • 3-5+ years of engineering experience in an EPC environment 
  • Superior Communication Skills 
  • Attention to detail and organization 
  • A can-do attitude, willingness to dive in and lead a small team of engineers 
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
