We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for the position of High Voltage Substation Business Manager to oversee our substation business operations in Greece in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the substation business area, including offer management, project development, financial performance, customer relations, and team leadership. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the energy sector and a deep understanding of the Greek market.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

   
  • Lead the substation business unit in Greece, setting strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Oversee the planning, design and construction of HV substation projects.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis in collaboration with the Financial counterpart.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Drive business growth through market analysis, business development activities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives.
 

What You Bring

  • Academic background in in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on high voltage substations.
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and proficient in English.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support business requirements.

Nice to have:

  • Strong understanding of the Greek energy market and regulatory environment.
  • Previous experience in managing team.
