A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Offshore Construction team as a Subcontractor Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the operational scope of our global portfolio of projects. You will collaborate closely with subcontractors to ensure they deliver comprehensive work packages within Preassembly and will will engage with the Subcontractor Manager to align on sourcing strategies and navigate contractual and commercial matters. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include verifying essential requirements such as training, competencies, and deployment timelines, all while adhering to established operational procedures. You will monitor subcontractor performance and maintain strong communication with key project stakeholders, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You will liaise with subcontractors to ensure they meet all essential requirements for project execution.
  • Collaborate with the Subcontractor Manager to define sourcing strategies and address contractual matters.
  • Monitor and report on subcontractor performance, maintaining close alignment with Site Managers, Installation Leads, and Project Management.
  • Maintain planning systems and contribute in weekly operational progress meetings.
  • Support the Subcontractor Managers and the WPS team with ad hoc tasks, embracing opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.
What You Bring
  • You hold a relevant education, such as a bachelor’s degree or an administrative apprenticeship with technical flair.
  • You are proficient in various IT systems and can act as a key user.
  • You excel at building strong relationships and resolving issues collaboratively, ensuring professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are proactive and adaptable, ready to support the team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • You possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and are available for travel if required.
  • You are comfortable working in a remote team setup, where most teammates and your line manager may be based in different locations. 
You are flexible regarding working time and location and able to handle workload fluctuations.

You will be part of a diverse internal team located across Denmark, Poland, Taiwan, the UK, and the US, contributing to our global projects in renewable energy.
