A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Student Assistant in HR, you will gain practical experience in a global organization and work closely with experienced HR professionals. The role offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, HR systems, reporting, and process improvement while developing skills that are highly relevant for a future career within HR or business support functions.

The role includes both recurring and detail-oriented tasks as well as opportunities to learn, contribute ideas, and take ownership. You will support employees and managers, maintain HR content, contribute to reporting and data quality, and help improve HR processes.

Working closely with experienced HR colleagues in Ballerup and a broader HR network across Denmark, you will gain valuable insight into how different HR functions work together to support employees, managers, and the business.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers by answering HR-related questions and guiding them to the right processes, tools, and resources.
  • Support key HR operations through People Center, Workday, and other HR systems by maintaining employee data, handling cases, and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes.
  • Help turn HR data into valuable insights by supporting reporting, data quality checks, and the preparation of presentations and overviews for stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain, and improve HR content, guides, and knowledge resources in SharePoint and People Center, making information accessible and easy to understand.
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, internal communications, and process improvements that enhance the employee and manager experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across HR and the business to support a variety of HR activities and initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of HR disciplines, including HR operations, employee support, HR systems, reporting, onboarding, and process improvement.

What You Bring

  • You are studying Business, HR, Social Sciences, Communication, Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • You are reliable, structured, and willing to take responsibility for recurring tasks.
  • You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of confidentiality.
  • You can work independently after guidance and ask questions when needed.
  • You enjoy helping others and providing excellent service.
  • You are structured and proactive and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You are curious about HR processes and how HR supports the business.
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and curious to learn.
  • You communicate well in English; Danish understanding is an advantage.

You do not need to know everything from day one. We are looking for someone dependable, curious, and eager to learn, who enjoys taking ownership and finding smarter ways of working.

About the Team

You will become part of a collaborative local HR team in Ballerup, where structure, quality, and knowledge sharing are core values. You will work closely with experienced HR colleagues while also becoming part of a broader HR student network across Denmark. From day one, you will be treated as a valued team member with responsibility, support, and opportunities to grow professionally in an international organization.
