A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, your day might start with an exchange with one of the Steam Turbines and Generators heads to share and be aligned on the latest market & internal news, ongoing initiatives and outlook on next key strategic milestones. You'll then lead a strategy project team meeting. Throughout the day, you'll engage with cross-functional teams to ensure your project team gets all support needed / information required. You'll gather and analyze feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners, implementing critical measures to drive the project forward. By the end of the day, you'll might review progress on your and other projects with the entire strategy team ensuring all activities align with the STG's and TI's overall strategic objectives, and for sure prepare for the next day's challenges.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Conduct strategic analysis encompassing market and competition, portfolio assessment, and global business setup
  • Lead planning initiatives, including establishing targets, scenario development, and implementing roadmaps
  • Oversee strategic projects related to new business ventures, partnerships, improvement programs, and market communication
  • Foster collaboration across all Transformation of Industry and Siemens Energy Business Areas to promote a unified team approach
  • Provide direct support and maintain interactions with the Transformation of Industry top management
  • Inspire enthusiasm for the Steam Turbine and Generator’s future objectives by engaging with diverse communities

What You Bring
  • University degree or equivalent experience (Master’s or PhD) in a field relevant to Transformation of Industries businesses and technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy departments, focusing on strategy definition and execution, decarbonization technologies, management consultancy, internal and market communication, or corporate sustainability
  • Demonstrated success in implementing strategy and consulting projects
  • Sharp focus on understanding business landscapes and forecasting future markets, core industrial competitors, and partners, while crafting efficient solutions for complex challenges
  • Proven ability to manage and lead complex projects while interacting effectively with colleagues and collaborators at all levels within a large, diverse global organization
  • Proficiency in Business English; knowledge of German is an advantage
