A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Stores Operative, you will support the daily flow of materials by receiving goods, picking orders, and dispatching shipments to customers across more than 90 countries. You’ll ensure the accurate and efficient handling of stock, both physically and within SAP, and use a range of manual handling equipment and forklifts in accordance with Zero Harm principles. Your role plays a key part in meeting customer expectations and upholding our standards for safety, quality, and performance.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Verify stock availability and pick customer orders accurately in line with established guidelines.
- Prepare, pack, and label products for storage or shipment, ensuring correct documentation and destination information.
- Assemble and strap palletised goods securely for despatch.
- Operate manual handling equipment and forklifts (where licensed) to transport stock within the warehouse safely.
- Support the integrity of inventory through perpetual counting and timely system updates in SAP.
- Uphold Zero Harm principles to ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with 5S and EHS standards.
What You Bring
- Experience working in a warehousing or logistics environment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Forklift and manual handling experience (Reach/Counterbalance licences preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP or other warehouse management systems.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (early/late as required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- A proactive, safety-conscious mindset with attention to detail.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. This includes zero or low-emission power generation, along with all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof.
