About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will responsible for procurement of equipment, products, and services of greater technical complexity and value, from the emergence of the demand to the delivery of materials and services to the company, through the receipt of requests, verification of specifications, analysis of price quotes, negotiation of prices, deadlines, finalization of contracts, and monitoring of processes, including control up to final delivery, always focusing on the best conditions of price, quality, deadlines, supply conditions, safety, health, and the environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Experience in SCM / Procurement-related functions, project procurement, proposals, and/or knowledge of the oil and gas or power generation industry, as well as sophisticated knowledge of the sourcing process.
- Experience with rotating machinery skids (compressors, turbines, pumps, etc..) and relevant technical proficiency in equipment and instrumentation is preferred.
- Negotiation and presentation skills, along with the ability to establish relationships and influence collaborators at different levels.
- Sophisticated skills in data analysis and cost modeling.
- Ability to understand and work in a matrix international project organization.
- Lead a supplier portfolio, including negotiations, issue resolution, and payment/invoice management, implement and complete global procurement processes, systems, and compliance standards (e.g., P2P, IT tools). Support supplier management activities, including development and qualification, selection, evaluation, maintain procurement records and systems, ensure contract compliance, and provide support for procurement planning.
What You Bring
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in electrical, Control & Automation, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Power BI
- SAP system (MM module) and preferably SAP Ariba.
- Experience in negotiation with collaborators.
- Experience with direct technical purchasing, preferably in the industrial sector.
- Proficient English is required.
About the Team
Our team of 10+ people is responsible for the Global Procurement of Compressors Skids/Packaging materials. We maintain close relationships with our suppliers, issue RfQs and Purchase Orders, ensure we are meeting our Procurement important metrics and work closely with the Project Procurement Management and Engineering to deliver New Unit Packages to our customers. We are looking for an expert procurement professional with knowledge of local Brazil market to join our global team.
