In this role, you will lead automation projects for medium and large power plants in the Netherlands and Belgium, with a focus on energy transition, maintenance, modernization, and digitalization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Leading the design, implementation, and commissioning of Siemens DCS systems, both independently and as part of a team.
• Monitoring project progress and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Playing a pivotal role in the development, system acceptance (FAT, SAT), and commissioning at the client’s location.
• Acting as a key advisor for both internal and external stakeholders in the design, development, and testing of software and system configurations.
• Utilizing Siemens DCS Omnivise-T3000, PLCs (S7), and providing on-site services at the client’s location.
• Maintaining close collaboration with international colleagues and experts.

What You Bring

• A higher vocational education (HBO) level or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• Knowledge of programming languages and software development in general
• Knowledge and experience with or willingness to follow training for:
• Omnivise-T3000 Programming and Engineering (both hardware and software)
• Implementing interfaces with third party systems with standardized protocols like  OPC, OPC UA, IEC60870, IEC61850, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English languages
• Ability to handle a broad technical spectrum in process control systems
• Advanced knowledge of processes related to the Energy transition.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
