About the Role
- Define and maintain the software architecture for HVDC and FACTS control systems.
- Drive Model-Based Design workflows for control algorithms and system integration.
- Apply MBSE principles to ensure consistency and traceability across the development lifecycle.
- Develop and optimize Simulink models for real-time control applications.
- Design modular architectures that enable component re-use and adaptability for future requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and Siemens Energy quality guidelines and support integration and validation of control systems in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in control system development for power electronics or energy systems.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, Model-Based Design, and code generation workflows.
- Familiarity with HVDC/FACTS technologies and power system dynamics.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, modularization strategies, and system engineering methodologies.
