A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Site Environmental Health & Safety Manager in Jackson, MS. The Site EHS Manager is responsible for delivering operational EHS support to the site leadership and workforce, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company standards. This role provides visible, proactive EHS leadership and acts as a champion for a zero-harm culture and employee wellbeing throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Leading visible on-site EHS efforts by promoting a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and proactive communication
  • Managing incident reporting, risk assessments, and root cause investigations while driving timely corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinating emergency preparedness by maintaining response plans, facilitating drills, and ensuring readiness of emergency equipment
  • Conducting routine site inspections, fire risk assessments, and monitoring safe systems of work across all project phases
  • Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, and project-specific EHS training while verifying competency and certifications
  • Reporting, documenting, and maintaining complete EHS records, weekly site reports, and stakeholder communications in line with project protocols


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in site-based EHS roles, preferably in energy or construction sectors. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations.
  • Proven experience in incident investigation and emergency response planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Certification in BCSP, OSHA, or equivalent is preferred.

Travel, as needed.
