How You’ll Make an Impact 1. Perform routine and corrective maintenance on offshore wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 2. Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify faults and implement repairs. 3. Climb turbine towers and work at heights in all weather conditions, adhering strictly to safety protocols. 4. Assist in commissioning new turbines and upgrading existing systems. 5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage. 6. Collaborate with teams and marine crews to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations. 7. Participate in emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. What You Bring 1. With mechanical and electrical background is preferred 2. Level B Electrician prefer.(nice to have) 3. Familiarity with wind turbine components, maintenance procedures, and industry standards. 4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and willing work in a diverse environment.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 50% On-Site Maintenance and Repair
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Execute corrective maintenance and repairs by interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized test equipment to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
- Ensure proper torque settings and assembly of components during repair and replacement activities.
- 30% System Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Monitor wind turbine operations using Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to identify anomalies.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system alarms and operational faults to determine root causes.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure reliability and performance.
- 20% Safety and Documentation
- Strictly adhere to all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures for offshore and high-voltage environments.
- Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Support process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on maintenance procedures and tool usage.
Certifications
- Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST)
- Taiwanese Level B Electrician
Education
- Vocational or Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related industrial maintenance field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a service technician in the wind energy, offshore, or heavy industrial sector.
- Proven experience working with electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
