About the Role
- Drive and coordinate repair, mods and upgrades and Design for Repair (DfR) development and qualification projects (technical and timeline responsibility)
- Support implementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing), provide technical shop support and process related non-conformance evaluations
- Collaborate with lifing & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver repair solutions
- Ensure documentation, tracking and communication of project milestones, risk assessments/mitigations and process qualifications
- Contribute to cost-out initiatives and process improvements through structured project work
- Interface with global teams and support knowledge transfer across regions
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a related professional field
- Experience in manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturing and/or repair technologies is preferred
- Proven ability to manage technical projects including planning and coordination with an affinity for digital tools and data-driven problem solving
- Experience with SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills (e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL) are a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, a proactive and customer-focused mindset, a structured and team-oriented working style, as well as willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activities and openness to international teamwork
