A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of the software that drives our wind turbine control systems. Your day will involve hands-on development of automated testing, debugging complex embedded behavior, collaborating with developers and cybersecurity specialists, and working in both lab and cloud environments to validate new features and secure stable releases. You will play a key part in continuously improving our products while supporting a team dedicated to innovation and renewable energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop system-level test plans and test cases based on product requirements
  • Execute sanity, functional, and regression testing across cloud environments (QA, pre‑production, and production)
  • Verify feature implementations and defect resolutions before software releases
  • Document test results, report defects, and track them to closure
  • Manage the test lab and ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain hardware and software simulators to support automated and manual testing
  • Debug embedded firmware and collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams to validate solutions

What You Bring

  • ISTQB Certified Tester, demonstrating a solid foundation in structured testing methodologies and a commitment to quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience providing strong system and software engineering fundamentals
  • Several years of experience in embedded systems testing or quality assurance, with a proven ability to work on complex, real-time products
  • Strong experience with Python, Embedded C/C++, and scripting languages, enabling you to build and optimize automated test frameworks and perform detailed debugging
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and cloud/IoT platforms (AWS preferred), allowing you to navigate modern data-driven and distributed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot highly technical issues, isolate defects, determine root causes, and drive solutions collaboratively
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to explain technical insights clearly and work effectively across cross-functional engineering team
