Impactful role involving completing complex tasks related to gas compression equipment installation and major overhauls, ensuring adherence to Siemens work procedures and standards. Your expertise will enable you to develop detailed outage plans, conduct thorough assessments of equipment conditions, and implement effective repair or improvement measures, all while maintaining meticulous documentation of installations and maintenance activities. Collaborate with customers, respond to service calls to improve service quality, uphold QEHS standards, apply expertise in rotating equipment, and gas compressors for outstanding outcomes.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Performs sophisticated outstanding tasks on gas compression equipment during new installation and Major Overhauling.
- Repair or work on modification projects in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
- Completes documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance repair work and failures.
- Performs sophisticated service calls and collaborate with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution
- Capable of developing detailed outage plans and executing and supervision of outages at Gas Compression sites.
- Performs assessment of equipment condition and applies repair or improvement measures based on Siemens standards and catalogue of corrective measures
- Participates in responding to semi-complex service calls & Drive QEHS.
What You Bring
- At least 7-10 years’ experience in Field Service of Gas compression, centrifugal and gear types, Mechanical lead engineer on Gas compressors
- Strong rotating equipment knowledge, with hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems related to centrifugal gas compressors. Integrally Gear Compressors & Process Reciprocating Compressors.
- Validated understanding of gas compressor processes & Product for OEMs like Siemens, DR, BH, Elliot, MHI, Clark, Demag Delaval, HV Turbo, Ingersoll Rand, Worthington.
- Can demonstrate experience with the equipment below:
- Centrifugal compressors and Gear Type compressors
- DGS/ Wet seal / Lube oil systems
- Compressor drivers
- Gearboxes.
- NDT Knowledge.
- Rotating Equipment Field Alignment.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
