A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Senior Project Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will target experienced professionals with a background in engineering or business administration, particularly those with a passion for the power and energy sector. You will lead meaningful projects within the Turnkey substation business, ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects, enhance team collaboration, and support Siemens Energy’s mission to drive sustainable energy solutions in a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Implement the project management office (PMO) concept within your scope.
- Collaborate with management to align PMO objectives with organizational goals.
- Develop and standardize technical guidelines and processes across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in project management practices.
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the substation Turnkey project business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the power or energy sector.
- Proven experience in the Turnkey substation business is a significant advantage.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.
