A Snapshot of Your Day
The role is structured around three core areas: strategic sourcing and supplier management, operational procurement and order execution, and project-based inventory and logistics coordination. With advanced knowledge of supply chain management, significant experience in a power plant or related industry, and a proven ability to manage complex procurement processes independently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• 20% Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
o Conduct supplier identification, selection, and negotiation of pricing, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements.
o Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from creation and administration to renewal or termination.
o Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and implementing improvement plans to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders and participate in working groups to inform and influence product and supplier strategy.
• 70% Operational Procurement & Order Execution
o Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
o Conduct material availability analyses, expedite purchasing and delivery processes, and implement corrective measures to prevent delays.
o Track and manage the entire order-to-delivery process, providing timely information and status updates to project teams.
o Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts, resolving discrepancies and managing the non-conformance report (NCR) and claims process.
• 10% Inventory & Logistics Coordination
o Monitor inventory levels for project-specific materials to ensure high supply availability while minimizing costs.
o Coordinate with internal partners, including planning, production, and logistics, to create an optimized and efficient supply chain.
o Support risk management activities by identifying potential supply chain disruptions and contributing to mitigation strategies.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within the power plant or a related industrial sector.
Demonstrated experience with international projects and collaborating within global teams is required.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
